Minister Risma Celebrates Independence Day with Suku Anak Dalam Jambi

- The children of Suku Anak Dalam in Batanghari Jambi celebrated the 79th
Independence Day of Indonesia together with Minister of Social Affairs, Tri
Rismaharini.
Minister Risma, in her visit to
two locations of SAD in Batanghari, greeted the children, and interacted with
various competitions and plays unique to 17 August.
“One by one, we love Madam
Minister. Two by two, we love Madam Minister. Three by three, we love Madam
Minister. One, two, three, we are amazing!" shouted the SAD children as
they welcomed Minister Risma.
In the lively celebration of
Indonesia’s Independence Day, Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) children participated in
various competitions, such as the traditional cracker eating contest and other
games. Excitement, loud laughter, and the joyful spirit of the SAD children
filled the air as Minister Risma held a quiz.
"Who is going to school now?
What picture is this? If you get it right, you'll get a prize," asked
Risma.
The SAD children eagerly crowded
around the Minister, competing to answer the quiz questions she asked.
"Do you know what this
is?" asked Risma.
"Yes, that's a duck,"
answered one of the SAD children.
"Where did you see it?" Risma asked again.
"In the fields,"
replied the child.
During this visit, Minister Risma
provided various forms of assistance, including school supplies, nutrition,
clothing, shelter, educational books, and a variety of sports equipment for Suku
Anak Dalam children.
