LEBAK (17 June 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini held a community service on Friday (14/6), assisting with health services, cataract surgery, clean water installation management, and Integrated Welfare Houses (RST). Minister Risma also provided empowerment assistance, one of which was through the Nusantara Economic Hero for Youth Beneficiaries (PENA Muda) program.

This PENA Muda is available to young people aged 20 to 30 who do not yet have a job or are working as laborers and whose parents get Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance. "I developed a program called Nusantara Economic Heroes (PENA), whose participants are young people drawn from the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). In their families, the children are working age, ranging from 22 to 30. However, they have not worked or worked as laborers," said Minister Risma in front of the media after assisting PENA Muda in Cipanas District, Lebak, Banten.

Minister Risma said that those who received assistance were previously gathered and assessed for possible business interests, and then given business capital. "From DTKS, we gather those interested and assist them with their businesses," said Minister Risma.

Rizal Mustari (23), one of the beneficiaries, formerly owned a workshop but was unable to expand due to a lack of finances. Rizal earned IDR 4.9 million in business capital support, which he plans to use to expand his workshop business. "I received PENA Muda in cash for business capital. I already have a workshop business but lack funds," said Rizal.

Minister Risma said she would monitor the progress of the beneficiaries' businesses over the next four months. Rizal is optimistic that the assistance he received will help his workshop company thrive. "I'm sure because now my business has been growing little by little since the assistance helped me to complete the equipment in the workshop," replied Rizal with assurance.

"Thank you, Madam Minister, for your assistance, pray for me to be successful like you, my business will be successful so that it will progress further in the future," said Rizal.
