Ministry of Social Affairs: "Alyatama" Rehabilitation Center for Children who Needs Special Protection (BRSAMPK) as the Center of Excellence
JAMBI (October 14th, 2019) – Indonesia Minister of Social Affairs, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita accompanied by the Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto counducted a work visit to "Alyatama" Rehabilitation Center for Children who Needs Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Jambi. This Working Visit aims to see directly the implementation of the Child Social Rehabilitation Program (PROGRESA) at "Alyatama" BRSAMPK Jambi.
The Minister of Social Affairs stated that the Ministry of Social Affairs wanted to make "Alyatama" BRSAMPK as a Center of Excellence of Social Rehabilitation of Children who Needs Special Protection (AMPK) in Sumatra and as a show window of the Ministry of Social Affairs in providing further social rehabilitation carried out by professional human resource.
On this occasion the Minister of Social Affairs reviewed public service rooms, intermediate houses mental and spiritual therapy rooms and learned archery together with persons who need "Alyatama" BRSAMPK Jambi social welfare services.
