Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes Aid for Taman Sari Fire Survivors
JAKARTA (February 16th 2020) - The Ministry of Social Affairs distributed aid to fire victims with a total value of IDR 267 Million in Mapar and Mangga Besar Sub-Districts, Taman Sari District, West Jakarta, Sunday (16/2).
The assistance was symbolically handed over by the Member of Commission I DPR RI, Charles Honoris and received directly by the Head of Taman Sari Sub-District, and witnessed by the West Jakarta Social Service Sub-District, Mapar Village Head, Mangga Besar Village Head and representatives of the Directorate of Social Protection for Social Disaster Victims (PSKBS) at SDN Mangga Besar 11 Pagi.
The assistance distributed was in the form of 400 packages of ready-to-eat meals A, B, C, D, 100 packages of family kits, 50 packages of kids ware, 100 packages of food ware, 100 packages of clothing, 200 sheets of mattresses, 50 sets of velbeds, and 2 sets of family tents.
This assistance is a tangible form of the Ministry of Social Affairs being present in every condition where people need post-disaster assistance, be it natural disasters or non-natural disasters, including survivors of fires that occurred in two sub-districts in Taman Sari District, West Jakarta.
