Ministry of Social Affairs Equips Social Pillars with PPE

JAKARTA (April 13rd 2020) - Located at the Kalibata TMPNU Convention Building, a symbolic handover of facilities and infrastructure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 was carried out by the Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto, Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Empowerment Bambang Sugeng, Director of PSPKKM Bambang Mulyadi, and Director of K2KRS Joko Irianto to the Social Pillars (TKSK, PSM, SLRT, Puskesos), Warakawuri, Pioneer of Independence, and Widow of Independence Pioneer.

Assistance received by representatives from TKSK was symbolically handed over by the Director General of Social Empowerment, PSM was handed over by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Empowerment, SLRT and Puskesos by the Director of PSPKKM, and Warakawuri by the Director of K2KRS, the representative who received it was located in the Jabodetabek area. Assistance provided in the form of masks, hand sanitizers and vitamin C to the Social Pillars, namely TKSK, SLRT, Puskesos, and PSM who have participated in handling the spread of COVID-19 as well as to Warakawuri, Pioneer of Independence, and Widow of Independence Pioneer.

The distribution of assistance totaling 4,637 packages was carried out through the Provincial / Regency / City Regional Social Services Agency in 32 provinces, with details:

1. TKSK, as many as 1,994 people

2. PSM, as many as 1,650 people

3. SLRT, as many as 115

4. Puskesos, as many as 230

5. 88 people KAT assistants

6. Warakawuri and 560 independence pioneers

In a symbolic handover, representatives of KAT professional assistants cannot attend because they are in their respective locations. Also present at the handover were Head of Sub-Directorate of MPN, TMP and TMPNU Luky Prakoso, Head of General Secretariat of the Directorate General of Social Empowerment Wahid Junaidi, and Head of TMP and MPN Section Rita Sagala.
