Jakarta (November 11, 2024) — To implement President Prabowo's directive, Ministry of Social Affairs will refer to the policy framework and data accuracy.

This was stated in a meeting between Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul), the Head of the Presidential Staff Office Anto Mukti Putranto, and the Head of the Development Control and Special Investigation Agency Aries Marsudiyanto at the Presidential Staff Office on Monday (11/11/2024).

"The President asked us to validate the data," said Gus Ipul.

Gus Ipul emphasized that data is essential in running a program so that it is not misdirected. In a short time, he said, there will be single data as a reference for running all programs of Ministries/Institutions, with Statistics Indonesia (BPS) responsible for carrying out this mandate.

In the meeting, Gus Ipul also explained various programs from the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) that aim to reduce poverty. One of them is Family Hope Program (PKH).

PKH is the flagship initiative of MoSA.  "Therefore, we hope to always receive assistance from the Presidential Staff Office and BPPIK in its realization. If there is input in the implementation or procedure (program) from MoSA, we will try to adjust it," he explained.

According to Anto, KSP is indeed tasked with directly supervising the activities of the President's priority programs. "The President asked for accurate data that will be used by other Ministries related to implementing the President's program," he said.

Head of BPPIK Aries Marsudiyanto emphasized to all state officials the importance of being exemplary examples so that the reduction in poverty rates can be achieved immediately. "So that later every year we can reduce it to 0% as directed by the President," he said.
