Ministry of Social Affairs Provides Assistance for Contents of Siosar Huntap of Phase III and Berastagi Fire

The Ministry of Social Affairs distributed aid for the contents of the Siosar relocation phase III shelter to 892 families of victims of the Mount Sinabung eruption, worth 2.67 billion rupiah. In addition to the huntap assistance, 8 families / units of houses for victims of the Berastagi fire disaster also received house building materials (BBR), permanent housing contents and productive economic enterprises (UEP) worth 264 million rupiah. The aid was symbolically handed over to the three victims whose houses were burnt down.

In addition to the assistance for the contents of the huntap and UEP, basic food assistance was also provided to the victims of the Phase III relocation of Mount Sinabung and the Berastagi Market fire, totaling 1,500 packages worth IDR 300,000,000, so that the total assistance distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs reached 3.24 billion rupiah. The assistance was handed over by the Minister's Expert Staff for Social Accessibility, Sonny W. Manalu to the Karo Regent, Terkelin Brahmana and witnessed by the Chairman of the North Sumatra DPRD, Baskami Ginting and the Head of Sub-Directorate for Social Recovery and Strengthening, Pudak Bektiwidari.
