MoSA and Commission VIII of the House Help People with Disabilities in Tulang Bawang Barat
TULANG BAWANG BARAT (27 October 2022) - Ministry of Social Affairs through Wyata Guna Center together with Member of Commission VIII DPR RI, I Komang Koheri, S.E., distributed ATENSI assistance to 20 Social Welfare Service for Persons in Need at Mulya Asri Village Office.
The distribution of ATENSI was directly given to persons with disabilities, the elderly, and children in the form of basic food aid packages, nutrition, goat farming entrepreneurship assistance, and disability aid in the form of adult wheelchairs, CP wheelchairs, hearing aid, talking cellphones and adaptive canes.
The Member of Commission VIII DPR RI, I Komang Koheri greeted the people warmly, "Commission VIII presents the role of government in society, by the law", shortly explained the role of Commission VIII DPR RI, "It was a proposal from the center, also from the sub-district head, the village head. We work together, coming together is the beginning, persisting in the process, when we work together we are successful," he added.
"I would like to thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for being here," said Iis Lisnawati, Head of the Administration Subdivision of Bandung Wyata Guna Center. "We hope, we all hope, that the aid distributed can be utilized by all of you, especially in the form of tools, which today we realized to give help to you all," she said.
Mrs. Lili, the biological mother of the recipient of ATENSI in the form of a CP Wheelchair, M. Abizar Al Zain (4) "Thank you for helping me with a wheelchair for my child" while holding back tears, Mrs. Lili, who was hoping for assistance with a wheelchair for Abizar, expressed her joy "This is very helpful, for everyday use. It has only been 7 months since my child's illness was detected, and we have been needing this wheelchair for a long time," she added.
The event was also attended by the Chair of the House of Lampung Province, the Head of Tulang Bawang Barat Regency Social Office or their representative, as well as local village officials.
