MoSA Appreciates District Social Welfare Worker’s Commitment to Handle Social Problems

BEKASI (June 26th, 2024) – Ministry of Social
Affairs (MoSA) appreciated District Social Welfare Worker’s (TKSK) commitment
to handling social problems in the society. It was stated by MoSA Secretary General Robben Rico when he started the Role, Duty, and Function
Reinforcement for District Social Welfare Workers in 2024 which was held in
Gedung Aneka Bhakti Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center in Bekasi on June 26th.
There were 74 representatives of District Social Welfare
Worker coordinators at the province/regency/city level throughout Indonesia
attending Role, Duty, and Function Reinforcement for District Social Welfare
Workers. They were taught about the reinforcement of the duties and functions of
District Social Welfare Worker, capacity building, District Social Welfare
Worker accessibility for SIKS-NG and SIKSMA, disseminationSocial Security Body for
Employment, District Social Welfare Worker assignment on
monitoring and evaluation of the beneficiaries of Nusantara Economic Heroes
(PENA) Graduates and District Social Welfare Worker reinforcement about
monitoring.
At the event, MoSA’s Secretary General Robben Rico talked
and discussed through discussion sessions with all District Social Welfare
Worker representatives. Robben wanted to listen to how the District Social Welfare
Workers worked in the field and what obstacles they faced.
In his speech, MoSA’s Secretary General appreciated District
Social Welfare Worker’s commitment to becoming a partner for MoSA in
handling social problems. Robben also reminded them of the importance of helping
and supporting each other and learning from people around them in society.
The spirit to help each other should also be present.
The event was warmly welcomed by District Social Welfare
Worker attending the event. MoSA Secretary General accepted so many questions
from District Social Welfare Worker from eastern, central, and western
Indonesians. There were so many suggestions and recommendations which were
directly delivered to Ministry of Social Affairs.
One of the attendants, Nur Soleh who was often called by Cak
Nur, a District Social Welfare Worker coordinator in East Java also expressed
his pride and he was committed to keep his commitment as a District Social
Welfare Worker.
“We’ve agreed to keep the commitment from the beginning. A
good communication between District Social Welfare Worker and certain parties
is very important. District Social Welfare Worker is one of social pillars who
acted as a backbone or pillar that was very important,” Cak Nur said.
