BEKASI (March 20th) – Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) held an important role in social transformation focusing on poverty eradication, and adaptive and integrated social protection. To establish this, Planning Bureau of MoSA held a cross-meeting between Echelon I work units in MoSA on the Coordination Meeting of Budget Implementation of 2024 and 2025 Government Work Plan (RKP) Arrangement.

Not only focusing on managing 2024 budget, the meeting held in Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center in Bekasi on March 18th – 19th also discussed 2025 Government Work Plan.

2025 Government Work Plan was hoped to be the guide for the planning of state and local government and the related stakeholders on achieving National Development goals.

The acting head of Planning Bureau Arif Rohman stated that the event is strategic to hold. “The coordination meeting has a strategic meaning to formulate state government policy, especially Ministry of Social Affairs in implementing social welfare,” Arif said.

The Government Work Plan would contain policy’s direction which would become a guide in arranging Ministry/Institution Work Plan dan the basis for planning the 2025 State Budget.

The Main theme discussed in 2025 Government Work Plan was inclusive and continuous economic growth acceleration through high-quality human resources, infrastructures, and inclusive continuous economic.

On the 2025 – 2029 period’s policy direction and strategic goals, Ministry of Social Affairs improved social welfare level for the poor and vulnerable citizens through adaptive social protection.

The effort was made to encourage poverty eradication acceleration, responsive social protection system reinforcement, and increased institutional capacity in handling poverty and social services.

By holding the meeting, Ministry of Social Affairs with its Echelon 1 Working Units affirmed its commitment to presenting programs that have a significant impact on society’s welfare.

The meeting was the next step of kick-off meeting on 2025 Government Work Plan arrangement. Moreover, the meeting was also a form of sincerity in building solid coordination to achieve inclusive and continuous national development’s vision and mission.
