LOMBOK UTARA (October 12th, 2019) - Head of "Paramita" Rehabilitation Center for Children who Needs Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Mataram, Ahmad Subarkah conducts Case Response and Social Advocacy activities in Tanjung Subdistrict, North Lombok Regency, accompanied by Head of Section for Social Assessment and Advocacy Lalu Zohri, Staff and Social Worker Service Unit (Sakti Peksos) North Lombok Regency.
On the first occasion, Ahmad Subarkah and "Paramita" BRSAMPK Team advocated for a 14-year-old child victim who currently has a three-month-old baby. "Hopefully this incident will not be repeated in the future," Ahmad Subarkah said. Later, the child will be given stimulant assistance in the form of milk, diapers, and baby bathing equipment.
On the second occasion, the group advocated to the house of a child victim of sexual violence by his own grandfather. On that occasion the team conducted advocacy by providing motivation and family counseling to be able to meet their educational needs through school. "As a family must provide guidance and supervision to children, so that the accident that happen to children do not happen again," Ahmad Subarkah said.
Finally, the group responded to the case against a child who was three months pregnant as a result of a relationship with his girlfriend. Ahmad Subarkah conducts family giving advice and counseling so that the child is temporarily taken to "Paramita" BRSAMPK Mataram to get social rehabilitation. In addition to defuse community issues and polemics around the child's residence, social rehabilitation is also carried out so that children get psychosocial therapy.
