EAST FLORES (April 10, 2021) - Following up on President Joko Widodo's working visit with Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Head of Sub-Directorate for Preparedness and Mitigation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Iyan Kusmadiyana, handed over compensation to heirs in cash.

A total of 110 heirs have received compensation of IDR 15 million per person. So, the total disbursed amounted to IDR 1.65 billion. Data collected from Regional Board for Disaster Management (BPBD) until April 9, 2021, for the death toll in East Flores Regency is 73 people and 1 person has not been found, while the victim in Lembata Regency is 37 people.
