Preventing COVID-19, Darojat Understands His Children For Not Coming Home

Darojat is one of 837 KK residents of RW 01, Jatinegara Village, Cakung, East Jakarta who received social assistance in the form of basic food from the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the context of handling COVID-19. The aid was distributed directly by the local RT directly to his house.

It has been 16 years that Darojat has been lying at home due to his illness, so his wife, Rosalina must focus on taking care of him. For their daily needs, they rely on the help of their children. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, their children rarely return home.

Even though their children did not go home, Darojat and Rosalina understood that at this time this was a good decision to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Hopefully the basic food assistance provided can reduce the burden on their families.
