JAKARTA (July 12, 2022) - MoSA through the Center for Professional Training and Development Education (Pusdiklatbangprof) conducted the opening of Hypnotherapy training for Social Welfare HR within MoSA. This training is an answer to the needs of employees who are at the forefront of services to Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS).

"Often we find PPKS who experience various disorders such as depression, difficulty communicating, lack of confidence, phobias, insomnia, even psychosomatic, but we can't do much because of our limited abilities," said Leni, a participant from Handayani Center.

Likewise, the opinion of a social counselor associate-level named Agus from Inten Suweno Integrated Center thinks that hypnotherapy training is urgently needed. "We need Hypnotherapy training because there are various types of PPKS that receive services from Inten Suweno Integrated Center as an institution that provides multiple services," he explained.

The training participants were 32 people from Centers and Integrated Centers within the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Center for Social Welfare Education and Training as well as representatives from related technical units. Hypnotherapy training will be held for 10 (ten) days from 12 to 21 July 2022, using classical or face-to-face learning methods with a Competence-Based training approach and located at Pusdiklatbangprof Jl. Margaguna No. 1 South Jakarta.

The facilitators in the Hypnotherapy training will be filled by people who have been in the field of Hypnotherapy for a long time such as Adityo Herlambang, Fadly Yulianto, and supported by speakers and facilitators from the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation of MoSA and Trainer of Pusdiklatbangprof as Co-Facilitators.

In his remarks, the Head of Pusdiklatbangprof Mr. Afrizon Tanjung advised that the participants who took part in this training were the chosen ones because not all participants proposed by the technical unit could be accepted as participants. This is done to provide opportunities for employees who want to develop expertise in the field of Hypnotherapy

"Our friends at the Center and the Integrated Center who are often deployed to the location, I don't think they have a problem, what about our friends at the Head Office?" This question was asked by the Head of Pusdiklatbangprof to the participants so that they would not experience obstacles in practicing Hypnotherapy after completing the training.

"My friends at the head office, such as those at Pusdiklatbangprof, I allow them to go directly to the Center every Friday," he added.

Not all people who experience problems will find a way out, even some people experience psychological suffering such as stress, depression, self-confidence crisis, or other psychological disorders that are very varied and complex.

Hypnotherapy is another perspective that should be used as an alternative for Social Welfare HR which in its work always involves communication competence and a problem-solving mindset. So Hypnotherapy is one of the psychological therapies that can be applied by Social Welfare HR to cure psychological problems faced by a client (psychosomatic disorders).

By using this hypnotherapy, it is hoped that Social Welfare HR can help clients/beneficiaries to overcome psychological problems that lead to changes in client behavior for the better.
