BANJARBARU (September 10, 2019) - In order to improve social rehabilitation services for Mental Disabilities, the Penajam Paser Utara District Social Service carried out a work visit to the BRSPDM "Budi Luhur" Banjarbaru.

This working visit was carried out to consult and coordinate the problem of handling Mental Disabilities, bearing in mind the relatively high number of 149 people and 14 of them routinely in and out of the Atma Husada Mahakam Samarinda Regional Mental Hospital, and the shackling case totaling seven people.

The work visit was held on Tuesday, 10 September 2019, and a group of five people were welcomed by the Head of BRSPDM "Budi Luhur" Banjarbaru, Herry Pawoko.

Herry Pawoko explained, "Later BRSPDM "Budi Luhur" Banjarbaru will collaborate with the North Penajam Paser Social Service in handling rehabilitation of persons with mental disabilities, and will be included in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)".

Next, the delegation from the Penajam Paser Utara District Social Service was invited to tour the hall to see the advanced rehabilitation activities and services provided by BRSPDM "Budi Luhur" Banjarbaru.
