Social Companion’s Capacity Building in PENA Program
JAKARTA (22 January 2024) - Social Welfare Education, Training and Profession Development Center (Pusdiklatbangprof) held Training for PENA Companion and Work Partner which started on Monday (January 22nd). The event was opened by the Head of Social Welfare Education, Training and Profession Development Center Afrizon Tanjung. The event was attended by 650 participants consisting of regional coordinators, area coordinators, and social companions all across Indonesia.
The source persons for the event are Special Advisor to the Minister for Social Welfare for Persons in Need and Social Welfare Resource and Potential Luhur Budijarso who delivered material about assessment and proposal preparation, and the Director of Empowerment for Remote Indigenous Community and Social Entrepreneurship I Ketut Supena who delivered material about the role and duty of social companions in Nusantara Economic Hero (PENA) Program based on Minister of Social Affairs’ Regulation No 7 of 2023 on Nusantara Economic Hero.
