Social Minister Risma: Don't Miss One Person for Social Assistance
JAKARTA (December 16,
2021) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini has instructed all levels
of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Offices throughout Indonesia to pay attention to recipients of social assistance so that no one is
missed out on social assistance.
"I ask that no one
is left behind. If they are already registered in the recipient of the social
assistance, it must be ensured that that person receives the assistance,"
said Minister of Social Affairs Risma in her speech at the Evaluation of the
Distribution of Social Assistance for the Family Hope Program (PKH) delivered
by the Director General of Social Protection and Security of the Ministry of
Social Affairs, Pepen Nazaruddin in Jakarta, Thursday (16/12).
"We have to
optimize even one rupiah, even one person. Don't feel that the realization is
already but then two or three people have not received it. If we see in the field
they need this help," said Pepen.
In this activity, the
realization of each region will be discussed, through reconciliation with the
Himbara Bank, both at the center and in the regions, so that it can be reported
to the public that in 2021, the distribution of PKH social assistance can be
optimal.
"Optimal in terms
of distribution, optimal in terms of transactions. PKH assistants are required
further how all (KPM) can make transactions, all can take advantage of their
assistance, then how KPM can also be empowered, "said Pepen again.
PKH is a program of
providing conditional social assistance to Poor Families (KM) designated as
beneficiary families of PKH as well as an effort to accelerate poverty
reduction.
Meanwhile, in his
report, the Director of Family Social Security (JSK), Heri Kris Sritanto said
that this activity aims to match data on non-distributed KKS and
non-transactional KKS, encourage resolution of distribution constraints,
especially areas with limited infrastructure and challenges of geographical
conditions, and ensure that distribution in 2021 is completed so that the
assistance can be utilized by beneficiary families.
