Social Minister: Social Welfare Work is Very Noble
DENPASAR (15 November 2019) -
Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P. Batubara attended the Workshop on
Capacity Building for Social Assistance for the Social Assistance Program for
the Family Hope Program (PKH) of the Yogyakarta Social Welfare Training Center
in 2019.
"Social Welfare HR does a
very noble work, not an arbitrary job, which not everyone is able to do,"
said Social Minister, in his speech in Denpasar, Friday (11/15).
Furthermore, the Minister
conveyed one of the vision of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr.
Ir. H. Joko Widodo Year 2020 - 2024 is Human Resource Development. The great
opportunities, challenges, and development potential in the future to realize
this vision, requires all levels of the Ministry of Social Affairs to prepare
superior Social Welfare Human Resources.
On the same occasion, the Head of
Badikilitpensos, Syahabuddin said that in realizing superior Social Welfare HR
also needs Social Welfare Training and Education which is able to answer the
needs of increasing the capacity of HR organizers of social welfare programs.
"Social Welfare Training and
Education Institutions must also be able to provide interactive, communicative
social welfare literacy information, education and literacy sources and can be
easily accessed by the entire community," explained Syahabuddin
Workshop on Capacity Building for
Social Assistance for the Family Hope Program (PKH) was organized by the
Yogyakarta Social Welfare Training Center (BBPPKS), which was attended by 350
participants from the Social Service, Regional Coordinator, Regency / City
Coordinator, PKH Social Supervisor and Assistant from the Province and Regency
/ City of Yogyakarta, Central Java, East Java, Bali, NTB and NTT. This activity
took place from November 13-16, 2019 at the 100 Sunset Ballroom Hotel, Bali.
