JAMBI (October 11th, 2019) - Head of Assessment and Advocacy Section of “Alyatama” Rehabilitation Center for Children who Needs Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Jambi, Lifyarman received abandoned babies boys aged around 3-4 months. The baby was received from the Jambi Social Service Agency who was handed over directly by the Head of Social Rehabilitation, Jaharudin. This male sex baby was discovered by the police and has not found the identity of his parents.
In order to maintain the safety and comfort of children, "Alyatama" BRSAMPK Jambi facilitate temporary and emergency care the baby. Temporary care by Prospective Foster Parents (COTA) is recommended by the Social Service based on mutual agreement for 10 days until the baby investigation process is complete.
If the police do not succeed in finding the identity of the parents or family, then the adoption will be processed in accordance with applicable regulations.
