The Life of Grandpa Abu is Filled with Joy and Lots of Love

Grandpa Abu's elderly age (74 years old) is full of joy and love. Grandpa Abu is clearly enjoying his old age, as seen by his everyday activities. Based on his home, he does not appear to be wealthy. His wife lives with him, while his children and grandchildren live far away. Nonetheless, Abu Bakar, as his full name implies, appears to enjoy a happy life. He is never observed looking depressed or moaning.

Despite his elderly age, Grandpa Abu is still able to provide for his wife. Grandpa Abu lives in Dusun Setia, Cut Bada Village, Langkahan Subdistrict, North Aceh Regency, and works as a rattan craftsman. He can earn millions of rupiah with his work.

To commemorate National Elderly Day (HLUN), the Ministry of Social Affairs provided empowerment assistance through the Pahlawan Ekonomi Nusantara (PENA) program to help Grandpa Abu develop his business.
