LOMBOK TIMUR (August 1, 2022) - Commemoration of National Children's Day (HAN) which falls on 23 July 2022, the culmination of which is centered in Lombok Timur Regency, today Monday, August 1, 2022, which is attended by the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini.

Although the activities were centered at the Lombok Timur Regent's Office, they were simultaneously carried out in five sub-districts in Lombok Timur Regency, including one in Sakra Barat District.

Today's activity was filled with Social Campaigns and Social Counseling by Education, Training, and Professional Development Center (Pusdiklatbangprof) Social Instructors and continued with the delivery of assistance to 208 underprivileged children from the Ministry of Social Affairs through Insyaf Center in Medan. The assistance provided includes biscuits and milk to improve children's nutrition. Besides that, assistance was also provided i.e clothes, press for toddlers, wheelchair assistance for six children with disabilities. Today's activity is even more lively because there are also free health services, immunizations, and vaccinations for children by involving the medical team from the Rensing Health Center, Sakra Barat.

Meanwhile, at the opening of the children's entertainment stage, the Head of Sakra Barat Sub-district, Mahrup, in his speech expressed his highest gratitude for the activities led by the team of social counselors from the Pusdiklatbangprof of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs together with the Insyaf Center in Medan who had been active in their area for a week.

On this auspicious occasion, the Social Counseling team advised parents who were present to follow up on the messages conveyed in the commemoration of HAN, namely: 1) Parents should take care of and give their children's rights well, should fulfill the needs of clothing, food, shelter. and education; (2) Stop discriminating against children, no longer being bullied, and fighting between children; (3) give full attention and affection to children as a mandate from God.

The event with the theme "Protected Children of Advanced Indonesia" and the tagline "Great Indonesian Children", ended with various attractions, competitions and children's games.
