The ToT of Stunting Completed, Ministry of Social Affairs is Ready to Train 8,000 Social Welfare Human Resources in 2021

JAKARTA (19 April 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Social Welfare Education and Training Center has successfully implemented a Training of Trainers (ToT) for Stunting Prevention and Handling Training for Social Welfare Human Resources. The implementation of the TOT is divided into two phases, namely phase 1 followed by participants from the Ministry of Social lecture as many as 80 participants and phase 2 followed by participants from the Regional Coordinators (Korwil/Koreg) PKH and BPSDM trainers for about 112 participants, so that the total of ToT participants is 192 people. It was held to prepare trainers for Stunting Prevention and Handling Training for Social Welfare Human Resources.

This activity takes place in e-Learning using Asynchronous and Synchronous methods. The implementation of ToT phases 1 and 2 will take place from March 22 to April 16, 2021. The ToT is officially closed on Monday, April 19, 2021. After that, then there will be a Stunting Prevention and Handling Training for Social Welfare Human Resources which will be held at the Center for Education and Training of Social Welfare (BBPPKS) Regional 1-6. The target of participants who will be trained in 2021 is 8,000 people who come from the Social Welfare Human Resources.

The closing of the ToT was carried out by the Head of the Social Welfare Education and Training Center, Mr. Mulia Jonie and attended by Mr. Widodo Suhartoyo as a representative of the Tanoto Foundation. In his remarks, Mr. Widodo Suhartoyo expressed his appreciation for the collaboration with the Social Welfare Education and Training Center in the preparation of modules and the implementation of ToT and said that the Ministry of Social Affairs is the first Ministry/Institution to train the human resources massively for Stunting Prevention and Handling which is one of the National Priority Programs.
