CIANJUR (8 October 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center (BRS) of Watunas "Mulya Jaya" Jakarta has returned three beneficiaries (PP) to their families. Collaborating with Social Welfare Workers of Cipanas District, Cianjur Regency sent back the Victims of Violence to their families.
According to the results of a medical examination with a psychiatric doctor, the three PPs were diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder, namely Schizophrenia. The illness experienced by PP was caused by domestic violence by her ex-husband. Based on the results of the examination, PP received social rehabilitation services for two weeks and received full health services.
In addition, PP also receives Psychosocial Therapy services by Social Workers while in the center as well as advocacy assistance in making identity cards (KTP) and Family Cards (KK). The three PPs were sent back to their families, namely their parents because they needed assistance and full support directly by their respective families.
"Thank you ma'am, for providing good service to my brother," said the twin brother of a PP to the accompanying Social Worker.
Furthermore, social workers provide understanding to families regarding the development of each PP during social rehabilitation activities at BRS Watunas "Mulya Jaya" Jakarta and provide recommendations for health referrals or further social rehabilitation to the Ministry of Social Affairs' Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Mental Disabilities in Sukabumi.
