PRINGSEWU (13
January 2022) - Due to heavy rains that occurred on Thursday (13/1) at around 5
p.m, the land subsided 2 meters wide on the south side of the bridge on the
road linking Pekon Waya Krui, Banyumas District, Pringsewu Regency, and Sri
Village Way Langsep, Kalirejo District, Central Lampung Regency so that it
cannot be passed by any type of vehicle.
However, back on
Saturday, 16/1/2022 after heavy rain coincided with the arrival of the
Pringsewu Regency BPBD Team led directly by Agus Purnomo, the Young Expert
Disaster Analyst Functional with the Pekon Apparatus and Joko Supriyono, the
Head of Tagana Pringsewu, who reviewed the bridge, it also
collapsed due to the erosion of the bridge retaining soil.
Finally, after a
Quick Study was carried out with one of the considerations that the road became
access for farmers to work on the fields and other economic activities, today
Wednesday, 19/1//2022, community service was carried out which involved various
elements other than the local community.
The Pringsewu TNI
Disaster Management and Fire Team, Tagana mingled with the community hand in
hand filling sacks with sand to fill the collapsed soil and lift coconut trees
to be used as emergency bridges.
"Indeed, our
target is to make at least a bridge that can be made by bicycles and motorbikes
so that people's activities can run and not go back to Nusawungu and
Mulyorejo," said Agus Purnomo, Coordinator of the Pringsewu BPBD Team.
