Minister of Social Affairs Risma Meets Youth Who Foster 3 Siblings in Bangkalan
BANGKALAN (March 5, 2023) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini handed over Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) assistance to Moh. Syarifin Rohman (16), the first child of the couple Syaiful Rohman (42) and Mesda (38), is currently caring for his three younger siblings in Bangkalan Regency, East Java Province, Sunday (5/3/2023). Syarifin, usually called Ipin, has to take care of his three younger siblings because his mother has a mental disorder and his father was arrested for a motorcycle ownership case.
The ATENSI assistance worth IDR17,500,000 consisted of Rp5 million in cash, assistance for basic needs and nutrition, assistance with daily equipment, mattress pillows, clothing, toys, diapers, and school supplies service of IDR12.5 million.
On this occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs Risma was accompanied by the Acting Regent of Bangkalan Mohni, Regional Secretary of Bangkalan Regency, Taufan Zairinsjah, Bangkalan Social Affairs Kadins Wibagio Suharta, and Head of Margo Laras Center Pati Jiwaningsih.
