KARO (December 7, 2020) - The Ministry of Social Affairs distributed assistance for the contents of permanent housing (huntap) for phase III relocation to 892 families of victims of the Mount Sinabung eruption who had fulfilled Huntap Siosar in Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province, Monday (7/12).
The stimulus assistance for social recovery for the third phase of relocation worth Rp2,676,000,000 was symbolically received by five representatives of Siosar temporary shelter residents.
Senior Staff to the Minister of Social Affairs for Social Accessibility, Sonny W. Manalu, as a representative from the Ministry of Social Affairs said that the Ministry of Social Affairs was given the authority and responsibility by the President to fill the Siosar Huntap that had been built.
"Of course, if there is a building, there is its contents. Well, the Ministry of Social Affairs already has a proper standard for the huntap filling, for that we provide this assistance," said Sonny after handing over the symbolic aid to five recipients in Karo, today (7/12).
According to him, the assistance for the contents of the third phase of the relocation shelter is the last stage that the Ministry of Social Affairs provides to residents of the Siosar shelter. Furthermore, he hopes that there will be independence from the local community.
