MoSA Distributes Compensation to Heirs of KKB Victims in Intan Jaya
NABIRE (25
November 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs distributed
compensation assistance worth 45 million rupiahs to three heirs of victims of the
armed criminal group (KKB) in Intan Jaya Regency, Papua.
The
assistance was received directly by the heirs at the Intan Jaya Social Service
Secretariat Office in Nabire Regency, Papua. The handover was witnessed by the
Regional Secretary of Intan Jaya, Amir Sirip, Chief of Staff of Kodim (Kasdim)
1705 Nabire, Major Inf. Prihatin, Head of Social Office of Intan Jaya, Paskalis
Weya, Secretary of Social Office of Intan Jaya, Stevanus Belau, Head of Social
Security and Religion Division of Social Office of Intan Jaya, Muhamad Duki,
and Head of Sugapa District, Agustinus Sondegau.
The Regional
Secretary (Sekda) of Intan Jaya, Amir Sirip, thanked the central government
through the Ministry of Social Affairs for handling the conflict in Intan Jaya.
Amir Sirip prayed that the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, would
always be given the ease in leading the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In addition,
the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Directorate of Social Protection for
Social Disaster Victims (PSKBS) also provided direct assistance in the form of
500 pcs of adult clothes, 70 pcs of children's clothes, and 67 packages of
children's toys, 70 packages of school supplies, and 123 packages of school
uniforms.
