SIGI (25
November 2021) - The announcement of the results of the
selection of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Enlisted Candidates in
Palu, Central Sulawesi on Wednesday (24/11), became a blessing in itself for
the married couple Busa Lawa and Olif, who are Beneficiary Families (KPM) of Family
Hope Program (PKH) from Sungku Village, South Kulawi District, Sigi Regency,
Central Sulawesi.
Their first
child, Febriyanto, was one of 213 people who were declared to have graduated
and will attend education as a TNI candidate for the next seven months.
"Today,
God has changed your fate, my friend. One day, when you return as a TNI
soldier, your steadfastness, your patience, even your humility, will never
change. From you, I learned that miracles exist," said the PKH Facilitator
in South Kulawi District, Azis Wilkerson.
He said that
Febriyanto's intention to become the TNI was taken very seriously. He also did
the mentoring process approximately two months before the registration day.
"Thank God
for allowing me to be your companion, who had accompanied me for about two
months before registering. From watching you run, restop, push-ups, to teaching
you to swim from scratch," he said.
With the
acceptance of Febriyantho as a prospective TNI soldier, Azis advised, not to
forget his parents, siblings (Lairut Laii Ruth Nunca and Yosis Tuda), who have
sacrificed a lot, as well as relatives and everyone who helped in the selection
process until he was declared graduated.
"Remember,
your mother will be very proud. She never expected to give birth to a child who
would later become a TNI soldier, become the pride of the family,"
concluded Azis with full of emotion.
Meanwhile,
PKH Coordinator for Central Sulawesi Region 1, Saiful Bakri, expressed his
pride. According to him, this mentoring process proves that PKH HR does not
only focus on assistance in receiving social assistance but also includes
attention, in the form of mentoring KPM children who have potential.
