Specific Work Visit of Commission VIII DPR RI with the Ministry of Social Affairs in Serang City
SERANG (December 6th 2019) - Specific Work Visit of Commission VIII DPR RI with the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Context of Supervision and Implementation of the Distribution of PKH and BPNT Social assistance in the yard of the Serang District office, Serang City, Banten Province. Also attending the event were the Mayor of Serang, Head of Provincial Social Service, Head of Serang City Social Service, Director of Family Social Security, representatives of PFM Region II, and 17 members of Commission VIII DPR RI.
In his speech the Director of Family Social Security said that more than 1 trillion rupiah of social assistance had been distributed in Banten Province. In 2019 in Banten Province there were 168 KPM PKH Graduasi Mandiri which on this occasion were represented by 3 KPM to get an award from the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In addition, there were scholarships for 2 outstanding students from KPM PKH who each received a prize in the form of BNI savings of 1 million rupiah.
After an informal meet lobbying and question-and-answer session, members of Commission VIII DPR RI and officials from the Ministry of Social Affairs accompanied by regional officials also reviewed the implementation of simulations for withdrawing PKH assistance funds at BNI ATM machines as well as the BPNT spending process at the e-warong stand.
