Supporting Fishermen in Sikka, the Ministry of Social Affairs Provides Fiber Boats
SIKKA (February 27, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini handed over 25 units of 5 GT Fiber Fishing Boats to 25 Fishermen Groups in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Minister of Social Affairs Risma also compensated 4 heirs of flood victims in the Nita-Tanarawa and Waiblama District. Other assistance provided was Assistance for Social Rehabilitation (ATENSI) in fulfilling a decent life, adaptive walking sticks, four-legged canes, multi-purpose wheelchairs, three-wheeled motorcycles, and entrepreneurial assistance. Minister of Social Affairs Risma also held dialogues with residents, mothers, children, people with disabilities, and the elderly, to find out firsthand the needs of the community.
