Meaning of Logo

DESCRIPTION OF THE SYMBOL/ LOGO :

A.       Symbol/Logo Philosophy

Lotus is a symbol of solidarity based on purity.

Lotus is alive with flowers blooming on the water, the leaves floating on the surface, and the roots floating in the water.

Lotus symbolizes the completeness of the basic sources of livelihood, namely water, earth (surface), and air.

The leaves floating on the surface provide shade for water animals from the heat during the day and provide a safe place to play at night.

Lotus also helps the mechanism of free exchange of air with air in water, useful for water animals, this symbolizes nurturing characteristics.

The water symbolizes something flexible (its form always follows its container), flowing, and true (it cannot be broken, torn, or destroyed). When it is burned, it will evaporate and in turn, become water again. It symbolizes true purity strengthened by the association of the Lotus remaining white even though it lives in murky water and its nature of not getting wet even though it lives in water.

 

B.       Description of Symbol/Logo :

1. The shape of a lotus with five petals forming one unit depicts Pancasila, meaning that the Department of Social Affairs is adamant about maintaining the values ​​of Pancasila within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

 2. The square graphic shape with the four wings of the Garuda depicts the philosophical content of social services through four pillars, namely: social rehabilitation, social empowerment, social security, and social protection.

 3. The human form contains the meaning of humanization itself, which is the subject and object of social services and carries credibility and identity to humanize humans. 

C.       Typography

 2.        Meaning of Colors

 

 Yellow

It means hope and insight into the future, reliable, dynamic, and trustworthy with underlying human values ​​as a professional department.

 

 Green

 The color which contains the meaning of health, nature, luck, and renewal, describes the evolution of renewal towards progressive progress in a better direction, apart from that it defines the sincerity of conscience in commitment.

 

Blue

Blue means philosophically trust, conservativeness, security, technology, cleanliness, and order.  It symbolizes the qualities of trust, reliability, and responsibility as the new image of Ministry of Social Affairs in the future.
