JAKARTA (24 May 2021) - The Director General Poverty Handling, Asep Sasa Purnama, hopes that the data will be accurate in alleviating extreme poverty. "I want each of these directorates to prioritize decile 1 and decile 2, which includes extreme poverty," said the Asep Sasa at the Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of Work Plan Year 2022 at the Directorate General of Poverty Handling in Jakarta (24/5).

 

The Director General of Poverty Handling said that the priorities for structuring the infrastructure for 2021, which were previously planned, are currently being reoriented according to real problems in the field. "For 2022, if we look at the structure, there will be quite a sharp change. Now the President is directing that the priority activity is the National Economic Recovery. Because the state budget is limited, this republic must make priorities, "said the Director General.

 

Asep Sasa said that the cooperation with Himbara in the distribution of the Basic Food Program was a concern this year because of the demand for better distribution according to the 6T principles (right on target, on time, on quantity, the right price, right quality, and orderly administration). "So this year the concern is Himbara, if there are no changes to adapt to the better according to demands, it could be a crushed himbara. Because this social assistance must be able to be implemented with the 6T principle, " he said.

 

Asep Sasa also explained the strategic plan of Directorate General of Poverty Handling which is the agenda for 2021. "In 2021, we have to start with our real strategic plan, where there are three, the first is distributing food and social assistance, the second is increasing economic independence, and the third is providing assistance so that our KPM has a decent house," he explained.

 

Several points discussed in this coordination meeting discussed indicative ceilings and finalization of policy directions for 2022, ensuring that the activity plan for the National Priorities can be implemented following the targets and budget allocations in the Indicative Ceiling of the Minister of National Development Planning / Bappenas and the Minister of Finance, ensuring that the project priority is stated and tagged correctly in Work Plan; and Changes to targets and budget allocations can be included by first compiling a preliminary matrix.
