(4 June 2021) – Working visit of
Member of Commission VIII House of Representatives (DPR RI), I Komang Koheri accompanied
by the Directorate General of Poverty Handling (PFM), represented by the Head
of Sub-Directorate for Assistance and Empowerment of PFM Region I, Buyung
Rachim Mosad in Mesuji Regency, Lampung Province (4/6).
The visit was carried out in the context of
monitoring the Sembako Program assistance program with the first activity being
a Focus Group Discussion (FGD), followed by a visit to several electronic
locations of gotong royong (e-warong) stalls in Mesuji Regency.
Welcome remarks were delivered by the Deputy
Regent, Hj. Haryati Cendralela and continued with remarks and reports from the
Directorate General of PFM delivered by the Head of Sub-Directorate for
Assistance and Empowerment of PFM Region I, on the occasion conveyed related to
the progress and development of poverty alleviation as well as several agendas
to be carried out, namely visits to several e-warongs to monitor
and evaluation of the basic food program in the community.
The second visit was carried out at several
e-warongs located in Panca Jaya District, on this occasion Commission VIII DPR
RI, Directorate General of PFM, Head of Provincial Social Service, and Acting
Head of Mesuji Regency Social Service witnessed a simulation of the
distribution of the Basic Food Program distribution and ensured that KPMs got
their rights. "With the social assistance program from the central
government, I hope that the program can be targeted and well utilized by the
regional government, and it is hoped that the regional government can pay
attention to our brothers and sisters in need," said a member of
Commission VIII of the DPR RI.
The process of realizing the basic food
program in Panca Jaya District, including in Adi Luhur Village there are a
total of 204 KPM and Fajar Indah Village 118 KPM, there are several obstacles
in the distribution process, including signal strength and interference with
EDC machines in several areas so it takes quite a long time when implementing
take place. With a visit made by Commission VIII of the DPR RI to Mesuji
Regency, expressed the hope that the obstacles to the assistance program can
be evaluated and KPM can use the assistance properly to increase their daily
needs.
