BANDUNG (December 30th 2019) - To create a dynamic and professional bureaucracy in an effort to increase effectiveness and efficiency to support the performance of government services, simplification of the bureaucracy is required through equalization of structural (administrative) positions to functional positions.

Brainstorming was carried out by the Directorate General of Poverty Handling at the end of the 2019 budget to obtain input and seek solutions related to HR structuring in equalizing Administrative Positions to Functional Positions.

Director General of Poverty Handling, Andi ZA Dulung, said that the issue of equalizing the structure of ASN positions had to be properly understood in accordance with the President's direction.

"Regarding assignments in carrying out activities or programs, it does not need to be sequential or tiered through echelon IV and echelon III officials, but it can be carried out directly by professional staff or what is currently called functional positions which can directly coordinate with echelon I and echelon II officials," he said Director General of Poverty Handling at a hotel in Bandung (30/12).

"There needs to be an extension of the term, not only mentioning the position of the social worker. This will make it difficult to collect credit figures, including if the Ministry's SOTK changes, "added the Director General of Poverty Handling when providing input regarding the equalization of this position.

The Human Resources Management Activities in the Directorate General of Poverty Handling were held in Bandung City from December 29th to 31st 2019 which was attended by the Director General of Poverty Handling, Andi ZA Dulung, Secretary of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling, Nurul Farijati, Director of Poverty Handling Region II, I Wayan Wirawan, Director of Poverty Handling Region III, Nur Pujianto, officials from the Legal Bureau, administrator officials within the Directorate General for the Poverty Handling, representatives of the Organization and Personnel Bureau, and representatives of the Planning Bureau.
