KENDAL REGENCY (23 September 2021) - The Kendal Regent, Dico Ganinduto welcomed the arrival of the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini together with Commission VIII of the House of Representatives for a Specific Working Visit for Supervision of Social Assistance which took place at the Tumenggung Bahurekso Hall, Kendal Regency (23/09 ).

 

In conveying about the social situation in Kendal Regency, the Kendal Regent said that the distribution of the Basic Food Assistance Program in Kendal Regency in the September period had reached 99% or around 72,548 Beneficiary Families (KPM) who had transacted from a total of 72,662 KPM SP2D. While the distribution of BST for the period of May - June 2021, there are still 5,171 KPM that have not been distributed and will be distributed immediately after coordination with the Kendal District Social Service.

 

"We hope that this social assistance can improve the welfare of the people in Kendal Regency," said the Kendal Regent.

 

Meanwhile, member of Commission VIII DPR RI, KH. Bukhori said that this Working Visit was to supervise the Social Assistance in Kendal Regency. In addition, he hopes that the assistance provided by the Central Government through the Ministry of Social Affairs will be useful.

 

Also attending the event were Special Staff to the Minister, Don Rozano Sigit and Luhur Budijarso, Director General of PFM, Asep Sasa Purnama, Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin, Secretary of the Directorate General of PFM, Beni Sujanto, Director of PFM Region II, I Wayan Wiryawan, Director of Social Security Family, Heri Kristanto, and Head of General Affairs Bureau, Wiwiek Widiyanti.
