REGENCY (June 5, 2021)
– The Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama visited the
Barokah KUBE in Kemutuk Village, Magelang Regency. KUBE Barokah received
business assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2019 in the form of a cow
farming business.

Barokah has two healthy and large cows, and one of the cows has given birth.
Apart from cow breeding, there is also a goat and sheep farm, in this village, there is also a lot of agricultural lands, one of the residents' agricultural
products that has a fairly high economic value is cardamom.
"The village of Kemutuk is located in a
very fertile mountain location, which is at an altitude of 800 meters above sea
level, so it is very suitable for developing livestock because livestock feed
is easily available in this area," said the Director General of PFM.
The Director General of PFM conveyed that one
of the tips in alleviating poverty is to empower the community to have
independence in their work, especially in agriculture and animal farm, even the
dung from cow farming can be used as material to help fertilize people's
agriculture.
"It is not impossible that this area will
become a center for agriculture and animal farm when all citizens are
enthusiastic, supported by the central and regional governments, and synergize
with other ministries," said the Director General of PFM.
