LOMBOK TIMUR
(14 October 2021) - The Minister of Social Affairs, Tri
Rismaharini, made a working visit to the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB)
in two districts, namely East Lombok and Sumbawa. One of the visits was to directly
review the distribution of social assistance, one of which was the Basic Food
Program to Beneficiary Families (KPM).
On that
occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs immediately asked social assistants to
pick up KPMs who had not made social assistance transactions to immediately
attend to disburse the Social Assistance Fund for the Sembako Program. After
the KPMs were present at the activity location, the Minister of Social Affairs
saw firsthand the disbursement transactions carried out by KPM, where the aid
index for the Basic Food Program was Rp. 200,000/KPM/month.
The Minister
of Social Affairs said that a KPM is very important because he is also a human
being who has been entrusted to God for assistance. "Even there is only
one person is a gift from God to us," said the Minister to social companions.
He also said
that even one KPM person must be considered because it is their responsibility
so that they can receive their rights. "Let's just try to see one person
like that, if we don't pay attention to it, it will be a sin, how will we be
responsible later in the afterlife," said the minister.
The Minister
of Social Affairs emphasized to the companions to do this work with trust.
"So come on, I'll tell you, if we don't trust, this is a heavy risk, so
because of that, once again, please be kind," explained the Minister of
Social Affairs.
The
disbursement of aid is directly supervised by the Minister of Social Affairs to
ensure that KPM receives full assistance. If there are obstacles in the
disbursement of aid, the Minister of Social Affairs immediately tries to find a
solution so that KPM receives their rights.
