MAJALENGKA
(5 November 2021) - The Minister of Social
Affairs, Tri Rismaharini handed over the assistance for the Social
Rehabilitation of Uninhabitable Houses (RS-RTLH) and several other social
assistances in Majalengka Regency, West Java Province. The handover of the aid
was carried out in conjunction with a working visit by the Minister of Social
Affairs with a member of Commission VIII of the House of Representatives, H.
Maman Imanul Haq at the Al-Mizan Islamic Boarding School in Cibolerang,
Jatiwangi District, Majalengka Regency (5/11).
On
that occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs symbolically handed over the
assistance of RS-RTLH to 60 Beneficiary Families (KPM) with an assistance value
of Rp. 1,200,000,000.00.
The
Minister of Social Affairs said that with the social assistance program
organized by the government, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on
problems in the community and it is hoped that the local government and companions if there are obstacles in the implementation of social assistance, deliver it
through a predetermined procedure.
"Local
governments should help solve existing problems so that they can
be immediately resolved according to the expected target," said the
Minister of Social Affairs.
Meanwhile, a member of Commission VIII of the DPR RI, Maman Imanul Haq, expressed his hope
that the importance of synergizing together in dealing with existing problems
and the social assistance provided could benefit the community.
Present on the occasion
were Special Staff to the Minister of Social Affairs for Communication and Mass
Media, Don Rozanon Sigit, Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs,
Harry Hikmat, Director General of Poverty Handling, Asep Sasa Purnama, Director
General of Social Empowerment, Edi Suharto, Deputy Regent of Majalengka
Regency, Tarsono D Mardiana, as well as several staff representatives within
the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Social Office of Majalengka Regency and the
Management of the Al-Mizan Islamic Boarding School.
