PONTIANAK (4 November 2021) – The Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini leads the Social Assistance Data Matching activity, especially Sembako/BPNT Program in West Kalimantan Province. The activity was carried out at a hotel in Pontianak City together with the Social Office, Himbara (State Bank Association), and Social Assistance Facilitators in five regencies/cities in West Kalimantan, namely Pontianak City, Bengkayang Regency, Mempawah Regency, Sanggau Regency, and Kubu Raya Regency (4 /11).

 

The Minister of Social Affairs said that her visit to West Kalimantan was initially to visit the disaster site, but because she saw that the Prosperous Family Card (KKS) data had not been distributed and the Beneficiary Families (KPM) who had not made transactions were still high, she also conducted data matching. "I saw the data that more than eleven thousand beneficiaries, both PKH and BPNT, have not received assistance. Actually, I only visit the disaster site, but then when I saw the data, I thought we need to match it,” said the Minister.

 

Following up on the problem of the number of KPM who have not received the assistance, the Minister of Social Affairs asked all parties to work together to accelerate the distribution of social assistance in West Kalimantan, starting with the Pontianak City. "I want the governor can contact the major, I ask that all can be handed over tomorrow," said the Minister.

 

After the data matching activity, the Minister of Social Affairs directly provides social assistance to the KPM Sembako and PKH Programs that have not made transactions. For data in Pontianak itself, the realization of the Basic Food Program as of October 31, 2021, from 19,199 KPM, which have made transactions in July as many as 17,806 KPM, in August as many as 17,789 KPM, and in September as many as 17,527 KPM.

 

Present on the occasion were the Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji, Special Staff to the Minister of Social Affairs for Human Resources Development and Ministry Programs, Suhadi Lili, Secretary of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Beni Sujanto, Representatives of the PFM Directorate Region II, as well as representatives of the National Police, Himbara, Social Office, and Social Companion in West Kalimantan.
