SRAGEN DISTRICT (August 20, 2021) – Social Assistance for
the Basic Food Program managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs continues to
be pursued so that it can be distributed and utilized optimally by Beneficiary
Families (KPM). This effort is in line with the activities carried out directly
by the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini by leading a meeting to
reconcile the social assistance data owned by social assistance assistants in
the regions with BNI as one of the Himbara banks which distributes social
assistance in a non-cash manner in Sragen Regency. (20/08)
The Minister of Social
Affairs conducts the reconciliation to ensure that the data on disbursement by
KPM can be carried out completely and checks the problems experienced if there
are obstacles in the disbursement. "So when I arrived, there was data that
there was (social assistance) that had not been disbursed, then we checked
what the problem was, even though we had orders to pay, we solved what the
problem was, don't let it not be accepted even though we already have an order
to pay,” said the Minister of Social Affairs when met at the reconciliation
location in Sragen Regency.
With this reconciliation,
the Minister of Social Affairs managed to find the existing problems and find
solutions quickly and decisively to ensure that KPM can receive their rights in
full. In the reconciliation, data is matched between data in the regions and
data owned by BNI, including blocked data. Knowing that there was a block of assistance
for KPM, the Minister of Social Affairs immediately contacted the central BNI
to unblock it. "There are various problems, so there are (social
assistance) which have not been disbursed for 2 months and continue to be
blocked and I have to unblock them like that, thank God it can be finished,
hopefully this week and next week it will be clear," explained the
Minister of Social Affairs.
On that occasion, the
Director General of Poverty Handling, Asep Sasa Purnama said that the
reconciliation between social services and himbara in each region which was
carried out every month was hold seriously. "To Himbara, please take the
reconciliation that every month is carried out seriously because it mainly
affects the disbursement and utilization process, because the reconciliation
carried out by each himbara every month is considered not optimal, especially
BNI because it is the most (amount of KPM managed)," said the Director
General PFM to BNI bank as Himbara which distributes aid in Sragen Regency.
