PEKALONGAN (July 27, 2021) - The Minister of Social
Affairs, Tri Rismaharini made a working visit to Pekalongan City to ensure that
the distribution of social assistance for Beneficiary Families (KPM) runs
smoothly. Accompanied by the Director General Poverty Handling (Dirjen PFM),
Asep Sasa Purnama, the Minister of Social Affairs visited several e-Warongs and
KPM houses are located in Panjang Wetan Village, North Pekalongan District,
Pekalongan City. (27/07)
During his visit, the
Minister of Social Affairs checked to ensure that social assistance complies
with the 6T principles, namely right on target, on time, in the right quantity,
right on price, right on quality, and right on administration. The Minister of
Social Affairs also asked that the distribution of social assistance should
always be escorted by all parties to ensure that the principles of
accountability and budget transparency are adhered to. "I ask all parties
to oversee the distribution of social assistance by complying with the
principles of accountability and budget transparency," said the Minister
of Social Affairs.
In addition to ensuring
that social assistance is given to KPM, the Minister of Social Affairs said
that he has prepared a system that can make KPM more flexible in choosing goods
according to their needs. “I have prepared a system that allows KPM to choose
goods according to their needs. Later, we will let e-Warong compete with other
stores," said the Minister of Social Affairs.
On the next occasion, the administrator of e-Warong Merintis Sukses, Sasmiah said that previously she was a KPM and since receiving the assistance of the Joint Business Group (KUBE) for e-warong capital, she has successfully graduated from KPM, sent her children to college, and also until now. This helps serve the community in the distribution of the Sembako Program. "With this KUBE assistance, I can pioneer e-Warong and can help each other to serve the community," said Sasmiah.
In Kota Pekalongan, the Sembako Program in May and June was allocated to 18,054 KPM which had been distributed to 17,365 KPM (96.1%) and for BST it was allocated to 13,990 KPM which had been distributed to 12,180 KPM (87.06%) as of 26 July 2021.
Present on the occasion were the Director of PFM Region I, Mr. Said Mirza Pahlevi, Director of PFM Region II, Mr. I Wayan Wirawan, Director of PFM Region III, Mr. A. M. Asnandar, representatives of the Social Service of Pekalongan City, Himbara, and PT Pos Indonesia.
Met at different locations, Nuraini, Rahayu, and Supriyati who are KPM visited by the Minister of Social Affairs said that they felt helped by the assistance of the Basic Food Program to meet the food needs of their families. "The Sembako program has helped me to buy basic food and other food items that are included in my daily needs, considering that I have been affected by this pandemic," said Rahayu, one of the KPMs met by the Minister of Social Affairs.
For the Sembako Program, the value of the assistance provided is Rp.
200,000/KPM/month, where currently direct assistance is provided in 3 stages
(July - September) so that the amount is Rp. 600,000. For BST, the value of the
assistance provided is Rp. 300,000/KPM/month, where currently direct assistance
is given for 2 months, bringing the total to Rp. 600,000/KPM.
