BEKASI (June 3, 2021) – After making plans in
2020 for the next five years, the Program and Reporting Section of the
Secretariat of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling held a Strategic Plan Review of the
Directorate General of Poverty Handling.
The 2020-2024 Strategic
Plan is prepared based on the National Medium-Term Development Plan which
contains the main substance of the vision, mission, goals, strategies,
policies, and programs complemented by development activities. The purpose of
the review is to strengthen the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the next
four years.
In his direction, the
Director General of Poverty Handling, Asep Sasa Purnama hoped that there would
be support for venture capital assistance from various parties, not only social
assistance from the government but also loans from the association of state
banks (Himbara) or ministries/agencies (K/L). "There is support for
business capital assistance, not necessarily from social assistance, so that
business capital assistance does not come from social assistance but is in the
form of loans. For that in the future, we can cooperate with Himbara or other
K/L,” he said when opening the activity (3/6).
He also added that there
needs to be a program synergy, between the Poverty Handling program and Himbara
or other K/L so that there may be policies that support poverty alleviation.
Some of them are low loan interest when getting a loan and guiding them to
improve their abilities and help market their products. “The Beneficiaries can
struggle, with us preparing the ecosystem. So the flow will continue to run
better," said the Director General of Poverty Handling.
Previously, the Secretary
of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling, Nurul Farijati in her report
said that this activity was carried out to produce several additional outputs.
"This activity will produce additional outputs in the form of determining
the SBML for 2022 and finalizing the monitoring instrument for evaluating the
implementation of social assistance. In addition, of course, refinement of
policies and strategies formulated through programs and activities so that they
can answer future development challenges," said Nurul while
accompanying the Director General.
