JAKARTA (November 16, 2023) – The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs and Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Hidayat Nur Wahid (HNW) distributed aid to residents of South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Hidayat Nur Wahid said that the aid distribution shows that the synergy between the government and the Indonesian House of Representatives goes well. The Ministry programs can be implemented in the community in need with the supervision of DPR RI so that the aid is right on target and has additional value.
The aid distributed during the working visit was worth IDR100.8 billion and consisted of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI), Nusantara Economic Heroes (PENA), meal program, basic food and empowerment program, Family Hope Program (PKH), ATENSI for the Orphans (YAPI), and Children in Need of Specific Protection (AMPK) program. Hidayat Nur Wahid symbolically handed the aid over to the beneficiaries and representatives. The aid distribution activity was held at the Pusdiklatbangprof Margaguna Hall, South Jakarta (16/11).
"Thank you to Ministry of Social Affairs for continuing our commitment and responsibility so that we can create the people's rights to receive protection from the state," said HNW.
Furthermore, Hidayat Nur Wahid hopes the program will continue and more people in need receive the assistance. This assistance is a proof of the state's presence in the midst of the community in need of forming social justice for all Indonesian people.
"This assistance is provided to improve the social functioning and independence of beneficiaries among families and society," said Adrianus Alla, Head of Mulya Jaya Center, on the same occasion.
The distribution of this assistance was also attended by Member of Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Achmad Yani, Representatives of the South Jakarta Sub-dept. and City Administration, Head of the Center for Education and Training for the Development of Social Welfare Professions, Afrizon Tanjung, PKH Companions, Social Rehabilitation Companions and beneficiaries.
