JAKARTA
(November 21, 2024) – A collaboration between the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) and the
Ministry of Home Affairs has been established to accelerate poverty alleviation
efforts.
"One
of the agreements we reached is to expedite the data synchronization process so
that a unified database can be realized as soon as possible," said
Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) after visiting the
Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday (11/21/2024).
During
the visit, Gus Ipul, accompanied by Vice Minister Agus Jabo Priyono, was
welcomed by Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian and several key officials
from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
"It’s
crucial to synchronize all matching data because data is dynamic. This can be
addressed with regular updates, either weekly or monthly, which we will
continuously evaluate," said Gus Ipul.
The
meeting also agreed to establish an appropriate mechanism to ensure the data
validity so that poverty alleviation efforts can be accurately targeted.
Meanwhile,
Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian underlined the need for national and
regional governments to work together to reduce poverty.
"The
Minister of Home Affairs has committed to directing provinces, districts, and
cities to align with the President's policies," Gus Ipul explained.
