BEKASI (February 21, 2024) - The Directorate of Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups (Dit. PKR) held an activity for preparing the Draft Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia concerning Social Assistance for the Basic Food Program and the Drafting of the Draft Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia concerning Technical Instructions for the Implementation of Social Assistance for the Basic Food Program in 2024. The activity was held for 3 (three) days from 19 to 21 February 2024 at the Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center (STPL), Bekasi, West Java.

This preparation activity is a proactive step to increase social welfare collaboration in implementing the basic food program. Dit. PKR initiated discussions and drafting decisions regarding social assistance for the Basic Food Program for 2024 which will provide clear direction and can work together in providing holistic assistance to beneficiaries of the Basic Food Program.

Also present at the meeting were representatives of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Secretariat of the Directorate General. Social Empowerment, Directorate of Social Empowerment, Directorate of Children, Directorate of Social Security, and Legal Bureau.
