BALANGAN (October 6, 2023) - In order to ensure that the distribution of the Basic Food Assistance Program is effective, the Directorate for Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups (PKR Directorate) of the Ministry of Social Affairs carried out Monitoring Evaluation (Monev) of the 2023 Basic Food Assistance Program Semester 2 in 20 Locations. This monitoring and evaluation activity was carried out from October 4 -7, 2023 in Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan Province.

The implementation of this Monev is one of the government's efforts to ensure and control that the Basic Food Program Social Assistance has been implemented, received and used in accordance with the distribution objectives.

Monitoring and Evaluation of the Basic Food Assistance Program in Balangan Regency is led by Ferdiyan Pratama, Young Expert Social Counselor at PKR Directorate. In its implementation, the Monev Instrument uses a form which aims to assess the level of success of the distribution of the basic food program using the principles of right target, right value, right time, right benefit and right administration, which is then interviewed by stakeholders and Beneficiary Families (KPM).

PKR Directorate carried out the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Basic Food Program accompanied by stakeholders, namely: South Kalimantan Provincial Social Office/Balangan Regency Social Office, Distribution Partners (PT. Pos Indonesia and Bank Mandiri), as well as Social Companion/District Social Welfare Worker (TKSK).
