PALEMBANG (April 6, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini handed over Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) assistance and witnessed the handing over of Kitabisa.com Donations to 11 children who came from underprivileged families and suffered from various types of illnesses, at the Budi Perkasa Center in Palembang.

The 11 children came from the provinces of Jambi, South Sumatra, and Lampung. They experienced various health problems such as hydrocephalus (on behalf of Derly Alvira Tifa and Arfa Taqi), cerebral palsy (on behalf of Tara Alia Sahara), skin/facial tumors (on behalf of Rafi Ahmad ), blindness, and difficulty speaking (on behalf of Indra Lesmana), malignant fluid in the brain (on behalf of Sara Cantika), withered paralysis (on behalf of Marlina and Senen), rare brain nerves (on behalf of Riki Saputra and Sallwa Adi Putri), cataracts and down syndrome (on behalf of Fahri Fanzelo). The total donation of Kitabisa.com that was submitted was IDR592,036,151. This donation is used to support medical needs, especially those not covered by BPJS-PBI and needs during treatment.

In addition to the Kitabisa.com donation, the 11 children and their families received assistance through 5 Ministry of Social Centers, namely the Soeweno Cibinong Intensified Center, Palembang Budi Perkasa Center, Wyata Guna Bandung Center, Abiyoso Cimahi Center, and Jambi Alyatama Center. Toyal Atensi assistance provided amounted to IDR276,277,363, - in the form of basic/nutrition fulfillment assistance, accessibility aids/support, home repairs, and entrepreneurship assistance.

Also present were the Special Staff of the Minister of Social Affairs for Communication and Mass Media Don Rozano Sigit Prakoeswa, Director General of Social Rehabilitation Pepen Nazarudin, Director General of Social Protection and Security Robben Rico, Regional Assistant and Head of Social Office for South Sumatra Province, and Head of Integrated Centers / Centers of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
