The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs provides Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) services for children, this time for children of Remote Indigenous Communities (KAT) in the Akit Tribe, Meranti Regency, Riau Province. ATENSI Children services in the Akit Tribe itself are aimed at clusters of children from minority and isolated groups in accordance with the AMPK (children in need of special protection) cluster Article 59 paragraph 1 of Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.
ATENSI activities are carried out through 7 activity components, namely decent living support (in the form of nutritional package assistance), social care and care, family support, therapy, entrepreneurship and vocational training, social assistance and assistance, and accessibility support. The team also carried out a rapid assessment regarding the need for ATENSI components for the sustainability of the program going forward.
