In the midst of the spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19), one of the things we can do to avoid being exposed to the virus is to maintain the body's immunity. Apart from being diligent in exercising, maintaining cleanliness and also eating nutritious foods, apparently consuming spices can also increase the body's immunity. One of the things we can consume is Spice Sugar produced by KPM PKH in Semedo Village, Banyumas Regency.
Semedo Village, Pekuncen District, Banyumas Regency is one of the Coconut Sugar Producing Villages. No less than a thousand residents of Semedo work as juice palm juice which is the raw material for making coconut sugar, and 300 of them are Family Beneficiaries (KPM) of the Family Hope Program (PKH).
Prior to the arrival of PKH, Semedo residents processed palm juice into printed sugar (shells) and sold it for seven thousand rupiah per kilogram. However, with the PKH Facilitator, the people of Semedo Village were invited to innovate to produce ant sugar with various flavors and spices in it, so that they could double their income.
