It seems that a tough task awaits Family Hope Program (PKH) companions throughout Indonesia. The reason is, the Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin, demands that PKH companions should be more independent of PKH recipients. Even so, Pepen still gives appreciation to PKH companions who are only able to integrate less than 10 percent of the number of Family Beneficiaries (KPM) assisted by them. Pepen wants PKH companions to have clear performance targets so that independent graduations are created not naturally, but by concept or by design.

Independent Graduation or recipients voluntarily withdraw from PKH membership is one form of PKH success. This shows that many underprivileged families have started to improve their standard of living. The Ministry of Social Affairs itself provides a target for each PKH companion to be able to integrate 10 percent of the number of recipients.
